As you might gather from the sudden regularity of the postings, I'm taking advantage of an internet centre that allows me to write quickly, bring this blog back to the present tense and, most importantly, upload photos. This is because the next part of my journey - the Andean North West - is staggeringly beautiful.
Using Salta as an anchor point, I will separate this region into three sections, of which I have already completed the first.
1) The Salta-Cafayate-Cachi circuit.
2) Northern Chile, San Pedro and the Atacama Desert
3) Southern Bolivia
